Job Objective

The primary objective of this role is to lead and oversee the overall marketing and communications strategy of the company, ensuring brand consistency, effective lead generation, customer engagement, and cross-functional support for business growth, product awareness and customer trust in life insurance services.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual marketing and communication strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives
  • Lead brand positioning, campaign planning and execution across digital and traditional channels
  • Plan and oversee lead generation campaigns in partnership with digital, media and business partners.
  • Monitor and manage budgets across marketing initiatives, ensuring cost- effectiveness and ROI.
  • Lead content strategy and creative direction for all marketing collaterals and customer touchpoints
  • Analyse performance metrics and provide strategic insights to improve future campaigns
  • Monitor on the market trends, customer preferences and competitive landscape to be able to apply on the brand.
  • Guide PR activities and crisis communication in alignment with brand reputation goals.

Other Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operations, sales and customer care teams to ensure messaging consistency and cross-functional alignment
  • Supervise and develop the MarComms team in terms of content, creative,
    digital, branding
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships for campaign execution, creative
    production and media buying
  • Represent the marketing department in senior leadership meetings and strategic
    planning sessions
  • Maintain compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to
    advertising and promotions
  • Support internal communications and company branding initiatives
  • Perform other related tasks upon the management and divisions.

Job Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in marketing and communications with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Having exposure with various marketing channels such as digital marketing,
    website, social media, content marketing, and traditional advertising
  • Prior experience in insurance, financial services or a regulated industry is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • An MBA or relevant post graduate qualification is an added advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
