Job Description

Job Objective

This proposition is responsible for contributing to the design and implementation of internal audit processes, procedures, and performing the operational audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and corporate standards

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform annual risk assessments for all delegated companies and projects.
  • Review and evaluate the organization’s financial statement and transactions in accordance with the IAS/IFRS, regulatory requirements and related law and regulations.
  • Drafts annual internal audit planning as result of risks assessment and submit to Head of Internal Audit to review.
  • Assist Head of Internal Audit to manage audit team to deliver audit report as stated in annual audit plan.
  • Review and submit audit plan, working papers, and audit report of each engagement to Head of Internal Audit approve on time.
  • Build and maintain the relationship with company executive.
  • Comply with company policies and internal audit code of ethic and assist Head of Internal Audit to manage audit staffs to ensure that they are comply with internal audit code of ethic as well as company policy.
  • Develop risk-based internal audit plan (annually) including audit budget.
  • Review of follow-up audit findings by taking into consideration of management’s effective proactive corrective action and risk level.
  • Other tasks assigned by Deputy Internal Audit Manager / Internal Audit Manager.
Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain records and files of all documents/ checklists and ensure all relevant documents are updated in timely manner.
  • Coordinate and co-operate with the stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the workflow.
  • Ensure to follow proper procedure for Internal Audit Charter
  • Provide Process Flow Training for the new entries.

Job Requirements
Experience

  • Proven at least 3 years experienced in auditing or related field.
  • Able to apply IAS/IFRS and respective regulations.
  • Financial institution and Insurance Knowledge is preferable.
Competencies
  • Excellent communication and diplomatic and organizational skills
  • Sound knowledge in planning and budgeting
  • Date Analytical Skill
  • English Language
  • Microsoft Office Environment  
Qualifications
  • Any graduated, more prefer B. Com or B. Act
  • Professional certifications of LCCI (III) or ACCA Part I or equivalent experience or working toward the professional certification
  • Relevant post graduate qualification is an added advantage.
